Fixed vs Growth Mindset
Fixed – “I am going to finish this ultra race no matter what”
Growth – “I want to finish this ultra by trying my hardest and giving it all I got but if I fail I will learn from it and try again.”
Having a fixed mindset could put your future endeavors in jeopardy.
Imagine pushing too hard in training or pushing through an injury during a race.
You may be able to finish that workout or complete the race.
But because you had a fixed mindset, you could likely miss future training sessions or miss other race opportunities.
